FAQs

What are the different types of vape kits?
There are many different types of e-cigarette. The most common ones are vape pens, starter kits, pods, sub-ohm kits, and mods.

Vape pens can vary in pretty much all aspects apart from the way they look. They are cylindrical shaped - resembling a pen - and tend to be fairly small and lightweight.

Starter kits tend to be fairly low in power, small and lightweight, and are designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. MTL vaping is when you inhale the vapour into your mouth first, and then into the lungs, and then exhale - much like you would with a traditional cigarette.

Pod devices also tend to be fairly small, lightweight, and low in power, and are designed for MTL vaping. The difference is that they use a ‘pod’ to hold the e-liquid rather than a regular tank. These pods can be disposable or refillable.

Sub-ohm kits are designed for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping. DTL vaping is when you inhale the vapour directly into the lungs without inhaling into the mouth first. Sub-ohm kits tend to be bigger and more powerful than starter kits, vape pens, or pods. The main purpose for sub-ohm kits is that they create far bigger vape clouds and more intensified flavours.

Similarly to sub-ohm kits, mods are more chunky and powerful than the other device types. They create larger vape clouds and enhanced flavour, but are not specifically designed for DTL vaping
What is included in a Vape Kit?
1, Drip Tip:
This is the mouthpiece at the top of the device that you inhale from.

2, Tank:
The second component is the tank. This is where the e-liquid goes.

3, Coil:
A coil is a metal object with a wicking material - usually cotton. This is usually located in the middle of the tank. The coil’s job is to absorb and heat the e-liquid to turn it into vapour.

You will need to replace your coil somewhere between every few days to every couple of weeks. You will begin to taste it when the coil has burnt out - this indicates that it needs replacing. Please note: different devices will need different coils, so always ensure the coil is compatible with your e-cigarette before buying. 4,Battery / Mod:
This is the chunky section at the bottom of the device. This part contains the electronics and battery needed to power the device. You will either need to plug in and recharge your device or recharge the actual battery with a battery charger (depending on what e-cigarette you choose).
Are E-Cigarettes and Vape Kits the same?
An e-cigarette is a vaping device that’s pre-filled with e-liquid. You’ll usually find two different kinds of e-cigarettes: disposable vape pens and pre-filled pods. Disposable vapes have their entire e-liquid supply stored inside one self-containing package. You’ll be using the device until it gets low on e-liquid, at which point you’ll replace it with a new one.

With a pre-filled pod vape, the e-juice is already inside the cartridge. If a pod is empty, then you’ll throw it away and replace it with a fresh one.

First-time vape smokers tend to prefer traditional electronic cigarette devices because they're easy to use and offer an immediate hit. They're available at traditional tobacco retail outlets, and you're already shopping there if you smoke. They're convenient because they're easy to use. Disposable vapes are ready to use right out of the box, and pre-filled pods are similarly easy to use too.
How do I choose a vape?
When you’re buying a new vape, you’ll probably want to consider the following factors before making your purchase:

What kind of liquid will you be using? There are hundreds of different flavors available, and you can even mix your own blends. Choose something that suits your taste buds.

Do you want a disposable vape pen or a reusable pod system? A disposable vape pen has its advantages – it's easier to carry around, and you don’t have to worry about refilling cartridges. However, it does mean you'll have to buy more than one. Pre-filled pods are cheaper and last longer, so they're ideal for beginners.

How many watts will you be running? Most e-cigs come equipped with variable wattage settings, allowing you to adjust the power output depending on what you’re doing. For example, you might set your device to maximum power when you’re vaping indoors, but turn it down when you go outside. This allows you to get the same amount of vapor from your device regardless of where you are.

Will you be using a tank or atomizer? Tanks are larger and contain more e-liquid than atomizers. The latter are smaller and require less maintenance.

Will you be using a cartomiser or clearomiser? Cartomisers are refillable tanks, while clearomisers are single-use units.

How long will you be using your device? Some people like to vape all day every day, while others only need to use it once or twice a week.

Are you looking for a discreet vape? Vaping isn't as taboo as smoking used to be, but some people still feel uncomfortable vaping in public places. If this describes you, then you may want to look into purchasing a discreet vape. These are designed to look just like regular cigarettes, and they're often sold in packs of 10 or 20.

Are you interested in trying out multiple types of e-liquids? Many people enjoy experimenting with different flavours. Try them all out!
